CODE DESCRIPTION
Code A Model Name
Code B Gas Type
Code C Probe Type and Hose Length
Smart Probe
Contains an LCD display that
shows the current leak rate.
Also contains an LED that can
be configured for operation just
as with the Standard Probe,
LED & Button. The probe also
has a keypad that is identical
to the one on the H25-IR’s
front panel, enabling all of the
instrument’s functions, setups
and features to be accessed
via the probe.
The H25-IR instrument, along with its probe type and
hose length, is ordered by specifying 3 codes. The codes
must be listed in the following sequence:

Standard
Probe
Contains
no buttons
or visual
feedback.
Standard Probe,
LED & Button
Contains a button that can be
configured to either zero the
unit or switch between the
instrument’s search and measure
modes. Also contains an LED that
provides visual feedback. The
LED can be configured to blink
with increasing frequency as the
measured leak rate increases or
light steadily once a user defined
threshold is reached.
For example: To order an H25-IR that detects
CFC type refrigerants; a Standard Probe with
LED & Button; and a 6 foot hose,
you would order an H25IR-1-3
