To change the DIP switch settings, the thermostat must be
removed from the base which is attached to the wall.
The power to the thermostat must be turned off
before disassembling or the thermostat can be
permanently damaged. If you do not know
where the switch is that controls the
power to your thermostat,
do not attempt to access
the DIP switches. The
following procedure must
be carefully followed:
a) Turn off power to
the thermostat.
b) Completely open the
thermostat cover.
The cover will snap
into this position.
c) Carefully insert a medium-
sized flathead screwdriver
into the latch access slot
(see Figure 1).
