The sensor assembly is exactlly right. First scrape off the rust from the connector as that might do it. If that does not work then buy a new part online for about $15 and you will be good to go. 6877A30013V is the part and you can probably find it on ebay. IT will take 15 minutes to take it apart and replace the part.
