have a york units mod air handler F2RP036H06B and out door unit mod. E1RA036S06D, thermostatfiltrete 3M25 need t6o know to wire these units together

5 Well, you need at least 7/18 wire for this to be wired correctly. You need to start at the thermostat and run a wire to the air handler, and run a wire from the air handler to the outdoor heat pump. Here is the how to hook up the wires. Thermostat --> Air Handler --> Outdoor Heat Pump R terminal --> R terminal --> R terminal (Red wire) B or C terminal --> C terminal --> C terminal (Black wire) Y terminal --> Y terminal --> Y terminal (Yellow wire) O Terminal --> O terminal --> O terminal (Orange wire) W terminal --> W2 terminal --> W terminal (Brown wire) L or X terminal --> nothing --> X/L terminal (Purple wire) G terminal --> G terminal --> nothing Nothing --> W1 terminal --> W1 terminal (White wire) **If you have an "E" terminal on your thermostat, jumper that to the W terminal in the thermostat. If not, don't worry about it, it's used for emergency heat.
