The heat pump breaker is tripping and the air handler is running on aux. heat. The thermostat does not show that it is running on aux. heat; therefore, I got stuck with a 2X greater electric bill. Service man can not find any problems. Heat pump still trips breaker every now and then. I'm tired of having to verify that heat pump is running and breaker is not tripped. Any ideas?
