Trying to find the filter but it is not in the manual. Believe that if we clean the filter the furnace may start heating the house. The furnace is on but not doing anything.

0 So you're saying that the gas jets are ignited and shooting flame into the area where the blower blows air and yet you have no heat?? That is a bit puzzling. Anyway just remember that the filter is between the return air ducting (will run down the side of the furnace to the bottom) and will be feeding air to the blower section. This will be where the filter is. I'm not exactly sure how your install is giving you access to this area...but if there is no access then you may have to get a contractor out to cut you some access. Working with sheet metal is not something you will want to try to do without the correct tools and experience. As stated in other posts...I had central air installed and the "A" coil had filter stuff on the inside of it which shouldn't have been there but was. I had to disassemble part of the ducting to get into that area to vacuum all that crap out. If you are adventurous as I am then go for it. If not you better get a HVAC guy to come in and do it for you.
