I have a 13 year old roof mounted residential York AC unit. It will blow 70degree for a few minutes then push down to 60degrees then after running for about 10 minutes the system shuts down. Won't come back on unless set thermostat to "off" wait 5 minutes then turn back on. I'm calling a service tech but would like to have some background on what might be the problem first. Thanks for your help.
