The vacuum brush light comes on when vacuuming hardwood or tile. It also has a slight squeel when on hard surfaces and seems to have a drag sometimes as if the brush isn't adjusted right. When moved onto carpet the light goes out. It also seem a bit hard to push on carpet. I also have a S12 and it isn't so hard to push on carpet. The brush and surrounding areas have been thoroughly cleaned and there are no clogs. This vacuum is only 1 years old.
