What does Heat Auto do? Does it mean the heat will cycle between heat pump and dual fuel which was programmed to changeover from heat pump to duel fuel at an outside temperature of 40 degrees? When the thermostat is set only on heat only the heat pump runs - even below the set temperature on the remot sensor.

1 Hi. This is Aaron Moratalla from White Rodgers. Heat Auto is an option of Automatic Changeover Mode where system could turn on Heat or Cool depending on the room temperature reading. So if you have Heat Auto it means Heat was the last mode of operation. But if you want Cool Auto system to turn on you can press Up and Down arrows same time and it will show cooling setpoint then you can press Up or down arrows to set your cooling temperature.

0 I have the manual. I can't find anything to address this. Even did a search of the PDF file on the manual. Anyone with experience with my question?

0 Thanks. I understand that part now. But why does the thermostat in the upper left corner blink between the time and an outdoor sensor indicator which is just three dashes?
