Thermostat won't turn heat on in the morning... w...

Thermostat won't turn heat on in the morning... we don't really use the "programs" just turn the heat on and off as we need it. lately, the heater won't turn on first thing in the morning. I'm not sure what's changed, but we haven't changed any settings... any help?
