Question About White Rodgers Thermostat 1F80-24
thermostat wiring codes...

I have 3 wires going to my ac unit from the white-rodgers model 1F80-24 that are red white and green. The red and white wires look to be used in the past, the green doesnt. What is the purpose of the green wire. My dogs pulled out the wires and I am trying to reconnect them to my a/c unit. my email address is Christopherbelln@yahoo.com
