Question About White Rodgers Thermostat IF80-261
thermostat was programmed/set by furnace installer...

thermostat was programmed/set by furnace installer. Now I replaced the batteries and I don't know how to set up again. I don't want to program for days/time etc. just want heat to run at temp I set, but it will not. Please help or how can I view a manual. thanks in advance.

2 If it is a programmable thermostat, there should be a "hold" button on it. Set the temp to what you want it to be, when you do that somewhere on the display will probably say "temporary". Once your desired temp is set, press the "hold" button. The T-stat should now "hold" that setting of the temperature and operate that way until you decide to program it. Hope that helps!

0 just would like a manual I just moved into my parents home and they have one of these never really paid any attention to how it was set it was always warm I found this manual. castleshop74.pdf
