Thermostat display is blank. There is no "battery" displayed but that is the only thing I can think of trying. However the thermostat has no batteries installed or does it have a place to puts batteries as the manual shows. The thermostat has a mother board and manual does not show one. Help.

0 I had a serviceman solve the problem. It wasn't the thermostat. The heat pump had blown a fuse. But I did learn that when the weather below 32 degrees, the thermostat should be set to EMER so that the heat pump will be bypassed and furnace will be used. The manual didn't mention this!
