Question About White Rodgers Thermostat 1F80-24
regulating temperature...

will not shut off, I have replaced the batteries and turned it to off, but furnace keeps running. Unable to "view" program.

0 Sometimes thermostats do fail. It is possible that the relay has stuck closed. Also Gas and electric heater relays will also stick in the closed position. Is it the heater fan only that continues to run or the heat itself? Make sure that the thermostat is not in the hold position. Hope this helps. joeyou3@me.com
