Looking for an owner manual on a thermostat model number 1f82-261. The situation that is happening with my thermostat is; everytime I turns on the heat and set it at 72 degrees or high the flame symbol starts to flashing. What do this indicates and what do I need to perform to prevent this from happening? Please email me the information that I am requesting. Thank you.

0 I need a diagram of the face plate explaining what each arrow means. Should aux always be on?

0 Why does the unit continue to run for 20 or thirty minutes once it has reached the temperature it was set for?

0 I have the same problem with the flame symbol flashing and I do not hear the furnace kicks in like before.

0 The flashing flame indicates auxilary heat is running, Try to set the temperature 2 degrees above room temp and it should be the solid flame. The reason the unit continues to run is because the thermostat is set with a 1/2 degree differential, which means if you set it on 70 it will reach 70 1/2 before it shuts off.

0 Bottom line was that the motor in the furnace was DONE - when the flame symbol comes on flashing an indication that the motor is going or is done - mine was DONE. I called the technical support in St. Louis and they advised me - I called heating and air and that was the case. Guys good luck - I had American Home Shield so it was the greatest help at this time only having to pay a service fee of $55.00. Now I am up and running nice and warm. - Hope this helps.
