My White-Rodgers programmable thermostat uses 6 AA batteries. Even though we use brand new Duracell batteries, the low battery sign seems to be on most times. The display never stays constant. The current temperature flashes. I guess that's the reason for the battery drain. I don't know what is our model and don't know how to fix it. Now we're in the heating season, the thermostat has become an annoying problem. Thanks.
