Question About White Rodgers Thermostat 1F86-344

I live in an apartment without a manual for a White Rodger 1F86-344. I am pretty sure my neighbor have tapped into my thermostat so I am needing see the lay off of everything please so I can understand everything. For three summer there were reasonable electric bills, but last summer my electric bill was over $200.00 and that was not right at all and the same for my heating as well. I am on disability and I will not tolerate someone behaving that way. Please help. Thank-you!!

0 The electric and gas has always been very reasonable except for last year. My electric bill has always run around $120. during the summer months but last summer it spiked $200. plus and it should has been down because I spent three weeks in the hospital. My heating was up as well. I have a new neighbor and now it has me very superstitious and wondering. I am wondering if they could have tapped into my thermostat? How can I check and is there a way? (Our attic is wide open and accessible to all us who live in the building which are nine of us.) My Landlord refuses to believe anyone would do something like this. Please help me.  (I have the manual, but I need to know what to look for please??????)

0 Can they splice off into the white wire of the thermostat of mine? I need to go up into the attic and check for splicing?
