Question About White Rodgers Thermostat 1F89-273
How to wire...

I have a White Rodgers thermostat already on the wall. It will not shut off automatically. So I bought a new thermostat. It looks the same except that it comes with a white wire on the top row of connections. How do I wire the new unit? Do I ignore the white wire and follow the pattern that was used on the old unit?
