how do i unprogram my white rodgers thermostat yesterday it starting showing the wrong temp in the house and i attempted to fix it now the clock flashes and i have no inside temp showing

0 I have a 1F80-0261 programmable thermostate. The instructions say to press the up & down arrows simultaneously to change the settings. I want to change from Farenheit to Celsius but turning it off and pressing the up/down arrows does absolutely nothing. How do I switch from F to C? Thanks.
