Question About White Rodgers Thermostat 1F78 a white-rodgers
help please...

the product is a white rodgers thermostat for a dehart heating cooling unit, I couldn't find the model number in your model number list, so I couldn't get the help I needed. Was needing to know if I have to keep it on hold or run for the air conditioner to work, been having problems keeping it cool in my house and don't know if it is a lack of knowledge on how to use thermostat, previous owners of the house did not leave me a manual for the thermostat.

0 i have prog. thermostat it is about8 to 10 yrs old, it is programmable but told installer i did not want it to work that way, just sue it when i want to change temp. to suit me when i wanted a temp. change, there is no model no. on it only your name, cover has on bott. arrow up-arrow dwn-set-auto/man to R cool-off-heat fan auto on across in that order, i don't have manual. i can not get the temp down to cool but it just stays on one temp no matter what i do.
