Question About White Rodgers Thermostat 1F80-361
Heat pump plus auxiliary electrical heating issue...

Please advise me, If I remove jumper Y/W terminal, can I connect the auxiliary electrical heating relay to terminal W? I live in a colder climate and the heat pump does not provide enough heating, and if cold enough will cut out completely, and must be augmented with an electrical serpentine
