Question About White Rodgers Thermostat 1f86-244
furnace does not kick off...

Have thermostat set on 68. Woke up and it is 77. Turned off. Then turned back on in a couple hours. Worked for couple days then did again. Would batteries have any thing to do or do you think the thermostat needs replaced?
