I have a White Rodgers 1F88-290 thermostat on a h...

I have a White Rodgers 1F88-290 thermostat on a heat pump/air conditioner unit that has the LED display showing only partial readings for all the indications from temperatures modes and every other peice of info. Is the thermostat faulty because the air conditioner is still operating as desired. Any suggestions?
