White-Rodgers: To Whom It May Concern: Our thermostat is set to come from 62 to 68 @ 5:45am, then 72 @ 6:15am. At 5:15am, it comes on blowing at high speed with programs 1 & 2 showing a temp of 72. That's 30 minutes before it's programmed to come on...and it's not showing the right temp. At 5:45am, program 1 shows and it blows at low speed until temp reaches 65, then programs 1 & 2 come on high speed until it reaches 72. After that it goes to program 1. Sometimes it blows high speed during the day with programs 1 & 2 showing. It stays this way for about 3 or so minutes, then back to blowing low. What can be done? The people who installed the unit and Thermostat said it's suppose to work this way. We disagree. We've never had a thermostat come on 1/2 hour before the time, blowing high speed for the 2nd temp, not the 1st. In fact, we've never had a thermostat blowing at high speed. How can we solve this problem? We want the thermostat to come on at the exact time it's programmed to come on, with the exact temp, always blowing on low speed. Can you send us a manuel on how to reprogram it correctly? It gets extremely hot and loud when it's on high speed and we're sure going on high speed is increasing our electricity bills. The model # is: 1F81-261 Looking at your model #'s, we did not see 1F81, but saw 1F80 & 1F82. Thank you, Rick & Judi Neuwirth 5912 Gwendolyn St. Bakersfield, CA 93304-7216 (H)661-837-1045
