URGENT! 1/11/15 WHIRLPOOL WATER SOFTENER MODEL WHES44. I NEED YOUR HELP. My water softener was installed 1 week ago and it was working perfectly. This morning at 2am the regeneration process started. My water softener is stuck in the regeneration stage for over 4 hrs. I have unplugged it but the water is still running. There is a message ERR1 displayed on the window.
