Question About Whirlpool Water System WHES40
unit full of water...

water in tank at top. I cleaned the nozzle & venturi as directed in manual. Put unit on recharge and water is leaking out of top of resin tank whereit clamps on to operating unit. I shut off the bypass. What should I do to get the water level down?
