Question About Whirlpool Water Heater None
resetting a flamelock water heater...

I have repaired this unit once with the Whirlpool upgrade kit. I thought the kit would prevent thermocouple burn out. Now Pilot won't light. How can I reset the switch?

0 I waited a couple of hours, blew compressed air through the lint screen, and tried again. This time the pilot lit. I'm not sure what is the key, but apparently the new switch on the thermocouple does reset after a while. So far so good.
