The unit runs but it doesn't expell any moisture at all. We have a finished basement, of which, has had a wood burner running throughout the winter. The winter weather has thawed and water has entered our basement. I assumed the dehumidifier should be able to be ran and help dry things up. Maybe the air in the basement is too dry and the unit is o.k. How could I check this?
