My dehumidifier was connected to a hose and worked...

My dehumidifier was connected to a hose and worked well for a long period but now seems to evacuate in the recepient. It is not convient for me for i use it in the continuous mode and want to evacuate the water in the drain. Why is it not doing that anymore?
