Question About Whirlpool Air Conditioner ACQ294

It worked fine last night and today it will not come on. It is a window unit with a remote and is 3 years old. I checked the filter and it's fine. I checked the circuit breaker and it's fine, the lamp that is plugged in to the same outlet is working. Please help it's supposed to be 100 degrees this weekend
