My window unit is missing the thermo cuppel/or thermostat. The part that is connected in from of the unit that indicates to the unit how cold it is before shutting down. I purchased my unit in 2003 and it is a Whirlpool Model # ACQ214XM Serial # QP0401154. A person I had to look at my unit took the part off. I hope you will be able to assist me because it's very hot in my home. Thank you
