I have a whirlpool air conditioner (SN HQ305SB0432...

I have a whirlpool air conditioner (SN HQ305SB0432) which came with a DG11F1 remote. The battery in the remote is dead and I want to replace it but I can't figure out how to open the battery compartment (see image).
