My Wayne Dalton 3018's manual release is sticking. The rope was missing so we replaced it, then when we pulled it, the release wouldn't budge. If we pushed it using our hands, pushing one end up and the other down to release the catch, it worked. We lubed it to see if that would help, no go. Doesn't make sense. I've tried looking at the manual, but this piece came preassembled so there aren't good pictures or instructions for it.
