THE CONNECTIONS FOR THE SOFTNER ARE AFTER THE WATER HEATER. HOW DO I KNOW I HAVE THE CORRECT FLOW OF WATER, GOING INTO THE INTAKE, AND NOT THE WRONG ONE. AND WHAT IF I DID. WILL IT HURT THE UNIT??
