5 Buy a big bottle of white vinegar. It's cheap and will last you a long time. Once a week take a q-tip or extra extra soft toothbrush and clean the little pointy thing and the silver disc thing with the vinegar. Also wipe all the surfaces clean where the water from the tank sits. Then add a little (1/4 cup maybe) of vinegar to a few cups of plain water in the tank, seal it up and SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE to your hearts desire. Empty and rinse. Remove the demineralization and soak in a vinegar/water solution for as long as you like. Rinse and refill the tank and you're good to go. After a while, if you have problems with the 'flow' , buy a new demineralization cartridge at your local discount or drug store.
