Hello,,,My Model C9947N's thermostat does not work...

Hello,,,My Model C9947N's thermostat does not work any longer..I replaced it with a similar unit but still does not work..Can only control heat by the hand controls...Can you advise what I need to do to get it to work with thermostat...Thanks,,,David 423 316-4181 email davidsessoms@aol.com
