I have a trane thermostat for a heat pump that is probably 4 years old, where do I find the number for it? there are two positions on it for heat-Heat and Em.Ht. I was told one is for the heat pump and one is for when it is too cold for the heat pump to work. Which and is which. Right now it is on Heat, and both the furnace and the outside heat pump are running.
