Question About Trane Air Conditioner XE1000
Trane XE 1000 coil leak...

My system is leaking freon. I have refilled twice this summer. The etchnician located a leak in the coil. he stated he cannot repair it due to it being aluminum. He stated it is time to replace the unti as a result UNLESS he can located an old coil from another unit. Is this correct? Is the coil no longer a replacemnt item?
