0 Hi anaxi, thank you for your post! From the information you have provided you would like to know if you need to turn off your oven in order to perform self-cleaning. To perform self-clean your oven would need to have power to it but not have the oven turned on. If you need assistance in performing self-clean could you provide me with the model number of your range? You can locate the serial tag (which lists the model number) behind the bottom drawer of your range. With this material I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you! –OOS
