5 This can be done but only by a qualified technician or gas fitter. Propane requires a very small opening in the jet while natural gas requires a bigger opening. So to convert it you have to drill the jet out bigger but the trick is just how big. This is what the gas fitter is for. Drill it wrong and you could blow yourself up. Hope this helps.
