Question About Superior Indoor Fireplace Bri-36
we purchased a home that has been empty for 2 year...

we purchased a home that has been empty for 2 years with a bri-36 fireplace. We are trying to light for the first time and are unable to. The gas is turned to the on position, however, we cannot even smell gas. We have tried the "hold for 25 seconds" function yet we are still unable to light. What should we do?
