Question About Superior Indoor Fireplace DT-600CMN
Pilot Light...

Pilot light will light and stay on with gas valve in pilot position. When I turn the gas valve to the on(run) position the pilot light will go out. I even let the pilot burn in the pilot position for 10 minutes and then turned the valve to the on position. Did not work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

0 Am guessing thermopile is your problem. If you look at pilot light you will see flamebis divided. We have this model, thermopile is to right of flame as you look at it Bottom of thrrmopile has two wirebleads red n white. Place a jumper wire across those leads with pilot lit n gas valve open , if abnormal flame you have bad thermopile
