I have a Superior SSDVR4035CNM on natural gas...do...

I have a Superior SSDVR4035CNM on natural gas...does this unit operate correctly when the electricity goes out and are there any batteries that need to be replaced to make it operate during a power outage ??? Also, how often do I need to replace the rockwool and logs ? I would need to download a user manual for this unit ...I couldnt find a link on your website for downloading !!!
