Question About Superior Indoor Fireplace 4550A
How to close the indoor damper on a "hinge snap" locking mechanism?...

I can't get the indoor damper above the fire box to close. The lock device is in the hinge some how. Getting the damper open was easy. There must be some trick to close it. Can anyone help with this? A photo would not likely help since the locking device is hidden from view.
