What are the flooring requirements for the DVT5-RE...

What are the flooring requirements for the DVT5-RENS superior gas fireplace please? Can we place a laminate floor directly below this gas fireplace? What are safety reqirements? Or do we need to put stone or tile below the fireplace on floor? Thank you
