how to clean a sunbeam 1387 1 humidifier? Would I...

how to clean a sunbeam 1387 1 humidifier? Would I put vinegar in the water? Steam seems constant but not sure if it should be more intense. I do not see a switch for steam levels. Wondering if electrical parts need cleaning with vinegar. thought I better ask first. Thanks!
