Question About State Industries Water Heater CCVIT PR6 50
Water heater Won't heat...

I have reset my water heater but it keeps recycling to "warm- vacation" mode. After turning it off for 5 minutes and restarting, it kicks on for 30 seconds, as if running properly, the shuts down, restarts the blower for 30 seconds and the stops. Three lights appear under Warm/vacation and A and B. I can't change the temp unless I restart. Model # PR650 XCVIT2 50gallon gas. Thanks! Tom

0 I was able to find my own solution by cleaning the thermal sensor with sand paper. NOTE: Even though it looked clean it need a couple swipes to knock off a very thin layer of combustion build up.
