Question About Stanley Black & Decker Garage Door Opener D2001.A07
Opener not closing the door...

The op0ener used to work just fine vbut has stopped closing the door when I push the button. If I hold the button down until the door closes all the way, it stays shut. If I release the button before that, it stops and goes back up again. I have adjusted the down force all the way but no luck. I can't find my manual to help solve the problem. Any suggestions?

0 That is usually a sure sign that the capacitor needs to be replaced. Cheap and easy fix. Make sure you unplug the unit while working on it.
