Unpluged the pump on the lower section of my soleu...

Unpluged the pump on the lower section of my soleus air pe6-10r because it was making a screeching sound. Will the ac work properly without this pump activated. Im only planning to use the fan and the ac part not the dehumidifier. Will this cause any future issues.??
