don't know how to wind the bobbin

5 Thread the needle with the thread you want in the bobbin. Place an empty bobbin below the plate, into the bobbin housing. Move the little button with the red 'dot' on it to the right. this will allow the thread to wind into the bobbin. Now, holding the thread below and behind the needle, gently begin to 'swe'. The thread will automatically wind onto the bobbin. When you've reached the amount on the bobbin you want, usually the last 'white' line on the bobbin, stop the machine. Use a scissor, or a file, something to pull the thread below the needle behind the plate, and slide the strike plate closed. This will slide the dotted button back into place, and you're ready to sew!
